Catholic Schools’ Week was a huge success. Everyone had fun as we showed our spirit and enjoyed the opportunity to go to school in an environment that is faith centered. This week will be quiet as we get ready for our open house on Thursday, February 23rd. Everyone is invited to visit the school and see all of our science experiments that will be on display in the hall from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. The Father/Daughter dance was the place to be last Saturday night. The parish hall was beautifully decorated and the dinner was excellent. A big thank you goes out to Mrs. Theresa Herrera and all of her assistants for making this a truly memorable night. The theme of the event was a Masquerade Ball. The girls were dressed in beautiful dresses and the dads were dressed to impress their daughters.
St. Helen’s School offers an outstanding curriculum to children, starting at 4 years, in our Junior Kindergarten program, through 8th grade within a Christ centered environment. We still have seats available in several classes and will continue to accept applications for the 2011-2012 school year. If you are interested in enrolling your child, or children, or have questions about our school, please feel free to visit the school office during our regular hours. The school office will be open Monday through Friday from 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., or call us at 251-5855. You are welcome to visit the campus during these hours also. Our office staff would be happy to give you a tour and answer any questions that you may have.
If you would like to participate in our Scholarship Club and financially support our school or a student of our school please contact the office.
I, along with the faculty and staff of St. Helen’s Catholic School would like to thank Fr. Gene and the entire St. Helen’s parish community for your prayers and constant support. We as a community, are working together to provide an excellent academic foundation along with a moral and spiritual life for the children that have been entrusted to us.
